Quality Assurance Team Lead (Position: 166)

Profisee has an immediate opening for a Software Quality Assurance Team Lead. This is a senior role in the R&D team of our product Master Data Maestro, a complementing solution to the hottest new SQL Server component—Master Data Services. This is a Microsoft environment utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS) testing tools and requires familiarity with the Microsoft .NET framework, MS SQL Server and auxiliary technologies.

You'll be leading the QA efforts while working closely with product management and product engineering from analysis through implementation; Profisee employs an agile software development methodology. This position requires critical thinking, intellectual hunger, personal drive and attention to detail. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment is critical to success in this position.

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for:

Setting up and owning the test practice;
Creating thorough test cases;
Developing comprehensive test plans;
Executing plans on schedule;
Assessing and identifying any deficiencies in documented and envisioned “project specifications”.

Summary of Job Requirements

Profisee is looking for a versatile, intelligent candidate who can "hit the ground running" and who possesses the following skills:

Technical

5+ years of testing experience, ideally commercial B2B applications;
Experience planning, building, developing and executing test plans and test cases;
Experience in setting up a QA practice "from scratch";
2+ years experience working with MS SQL Server 2005+ (T-SQL is a plus);
2+ years experience working with the Microsoft .NET framework and auxiliary technologies.

Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage your own time effectively;
Proactive in the company's software delivery and development processes;
Demonstrates a pragmatic "risk-aware" approach to QA and software testing;
Understands (and has had involvement) in the full project development lifecycle, especially incremental software deliveries;
Possesses a composed, flexible and creative approach to software testing.
